P表示可以停车。

这里的P是PARKING的缩写，即可以停车的意思，停车场的英文即parking lot。这样的标志一般在停车场及其它一些规定可以停车的地方出现。但如果标志上是P加一道斜杠，那就表示不可以停车，这时候不要明知故犯。

一般是以深蓝色为底，有一个乳白色的P的英文字母，表明的是能够临时性停车的标志，有的还会继续额外上路边停车区或是临时性停车场的汉语来提醒，说明该道路能够路边停车。

停车时的注意事项

有的停车的地方则是会加上车子能够临时性停放的时间范围，那样买车人在时间范围内临时性停放车子是没事的。

在道路周边，买车人还可以常常见到禁止停车的标示，可是有一个是以深蓝色为底，有红色的圆形和一条红色斜杠，表明的是不允许长期停放车子。

停放时间超出五分钟就归属于长期泊车。如果是红色的交叉式图案设计，那便是意味着禁止停车，临时性或是长期全是不允许的。
