我们从小学就开始学英语。我认为英语很棒。首先，学英语的话看外国电影就不需要看字幕了;我们也能听得懂英文歌了。其次，我们可以用英语与外国人交流，认识更多的朋友。通过学英语，我们得到了很多好处。因此我很爱英语。
I love English, because it sounds beautiful. I think the English speakers are very cool. I like listening to the native speakers speak English. And I hope one day I can speak like them. Therefore, the English class is my favorite. In the class, I listen carefully to my teacher, and I often ask and answer questions. I think it’s a good opportunity to practice. After class, I often read the English magazines and watch English TV programs. I hope I can make progress after class. English learning is a long journey, but I make up my mind to word hard.

在孩子们还很小的时候，幼儿园，小学，就已经开始普及英语课程了，双语教学也成为现在教学的一种主流趋势。想让孩子们学好英语，背课文其实是一个很有效的方法。背课文听起来很可怕，每个人似乎都经历过。不过不能否认，背课文是学英语最好的方法之一，特别是对于少年儿童更是如此。其实，背课文是一项其乐无穷的学习方式。只要把握的好，就能够使学生在快乐和成就感中学习。
先说说背课文的好处。背课文能够使学生全面学习单词和语法，不仅学会每个单词和句法现象的本身，还能够了解它在实际使用时的用法、搭配和其它语气特征，更好的做到学用结合。由于是整个文章或是句子一起理解和接受，所以对于单个语言单位，像单词、语法要点、搭配等的记忆更加牢固。
其次，背课文能够促使孩子多读，而且是大声朗读，这样对于孩子形成良好的语感至关重要。背一篇课文能帮助孩子强化练习的语流、语速，迅速提高英语口语水平。
另外一点也非常重要：日常生活中我们都很难给孩子提供很好的英语语言环境，很难接触到纯正的英语;并且如果想实践英语的交流，必须具备一定的水平和交流对象，这些都不太容易具备。而背一篇课文能够为孩子提供一个相对封闭的语言环境、纯正丰富的语言资料，弥补以上的不足。一篇课文流利背诵出来，更会让孩子得到英语学习的巨大乐趣和巨大的成就感，增强自信心。

My hobby is collecting stamps. I have collected more than two hundred stamps. I began to collect them last year. I have been collecting them for around a year.I like stamps because they are very beautiful and very interesting. Every stamp is a wonderful picture and from it you can learn a lot.Look, these are stamps for the snake year. They show us the traditional art of China. In these stamps there are beautiful fishes. And these stamps are about the great persons, such as Einstein,Mao TsingDung, Bill Gates, Gergo Washington and so. Don't you think the stamps are very interesting?
