涉及数量或程度时，要用no more，如：There's no more bread.（没有面包了。）在现代英语里，谈到时间的时候no more 不能表示once but not now (有一度，曾经），为了表达这个意思，我们要用not...any more。如：安妮不再住在这里了。不可译成：Annie no more lives here. 应该写成：Annie doesn't live here any more.
