IC（皮内注射 ）。
打在表皮和真皮之间，常用部位为前臂掌侧中段，通常用来作皮试（药物过敏试验),也是局部麻醉的前驱步骤。注射方式为；乙醇消毒后与皮肤呈5度角或平行刺入皮肤，注入药液0·1ml，见注射部位皮肤形成皮丘后拔针，拔针后不要按揉局部皮肤，也不用按压局部。
如做药物过敏试验，15-20分钟后观察结果，并准备2ml注射器及盐酸肾上腺素一支。皮内注射不可用碘酊消毒，如患者对乙醇过敏，可换用生理盐水消毒。
IH（ 皮下注射 ）。
打在皮下组织，常用部位为上臂三角肌下缘，腹部，大腿内侧等。常用于预防接种。注射方法（以上臂三角肌下缘注射为例，首先常规消毒皮肤，然后将抽吸好药液的注射器与皮肤呈30-40度角快速刺入，刺入针梗的三分之一至三分之二，回抽无回血，缓慢注入药液。拔针，用棉球按压针眼，迅速拔出针头。
