look at与catch sight of都有“看”的意思，但是侧重点不同，在句子里面的用法也是不同的。
1. look at：看；考虑；着眼于。
强调看的过程，后面接看的内容或者对象。
作谓语的时候，可以用一般的时态（一般过去时、一般现在时等）；也可以用进行时态。
例句：
Look, everybody is looking at the sun!
快看，大家都在看太阳呢！
Look at the time! We'll be late.
看几点了！我们要迟到了。
She looked at him expectantly.
她满怀期望地看着他。
2. catch sight of：看到；瞥见。
强调“看”的结果，是短暂性动词词组；作谓语的时候，可以用一般的时态（一般过去时、一般现在时等），但是不能用进行时态。
例句：
You may catch sight of those beautiful sights.
你可能看见那些漂亮的风景。
Standing at the top of the hill you can catch sight of the whole city.
站在山顶，我们能够看见全城的景色。
She caught sight of a car in the distance.
她瞥见远处有一辆车。

是介语。。。 对***视而不见。。 **显然要是一个事物 那这个to就是介词to 后加动词 构成不定式。。一般都是有一些vi 不及物动词在前面。 love like decide stop begin start 等都可以跟不定式。。
