resume 或者 curriculum vita 简称 CV前者普通1-2页的 简历，面试花几秒去睇你简历后者是比前者更详细的履历，通常是申请学术性职位用到

personal这是肯定没错的，但是同一个“档案”也有不同的翻译方式。看你偏向哪个意思。要是简历就是resume，要是像政府机关等地的资料就用profile，data主要指电脑等存储设备的“数据”，information准确的中文翻译是“信息”，离“档案”都有些远。还有，如果是非正式场合（比如娱乐节目）那就可以很随便了，在那些对参加的选手的介绍（包括生日，爱好，等等）用“About the candidate”之类的用语没问题的。
