for在英语中的用法

for的用法主要有表示支持、目的、时间、原因、作为、用途、动作的对象等。用法口诀：复不定for、找、价、原，对、给、段、去、为、作、赞。 for在短语动词中的特殊用法见有关动词词条。如fall for sb在词条fall的短语动词部分。(表目的)为了。如: They went out for a walk.他们出去散步了。 What did you do that for?你干吗这样做?That' s what we' re here for.这正是我们来的目的。 What' s she gone for this time?她这次去干什么去了?
