上次回答的时候没看清楚。如果是付出时间可以用 This is worthy of your time 这值得你付出时间 pay更大程度上是付出代价 如：You'll pay for this!你将为此付出代价。而单纯讲付出不如用effort, endeavour之类。如：Your effort on this undertaking will be repaid well. 你在这项事业上的努力将得到很好的回报。
pay; expend: pay a price;付出代价 pay through the nose for sth.;为某事付出极大代价 put in a lot of hard work;付出辛勤的劳动 expend the quantity of labour; contribute amount of labour付出劳动量
