Self-awareness is important.We need to know our good and bad points.Its the best way to improve.We should examine ourselves.We should know who we are.Thats what true knowledge is.Here are my strengths and weaknesses.I want to share them with you.Please listen and learn from me.Fist,Im heathy and fit.Im capable of working hard.I seldom get sick.My friends say Im humble and polite.I respect and obey my elders.I like to help people whenever I can.Im also optimistic.I have a confident personality.I always look on the bright side of things.On the other hand,Im stubborn.I;m a little impatient,too.I sometimes whineand complain.I watch too much TV.I eat too much junk food.And my room is often messy.Nobody is perfect.Im not ashamed to admit it.I just focus on improving myself.I like to look into the mirror.I remember when I was a little girl, I often stood on my toes, trying to find my face in the mirror of the dressing table, which was nearly as high as I was.Now I still like to look into the mirror.Only now, the dressing table is too low for me.As I bend down, I see the face of a young woman, glowing with maturity, confident in her future and fascinated with her own reflection.The fact that I like to look into the mirror has to do with my granny with whom I spent most of my childhood.I remember clearly that one night I heard her murmuring, Women cant be seen.Women cant be seen.I was so confused as to look into the mirror the next morning to check if I could indeed see myself.Only now as a young woman myself, can I understand that it was not physical visibility that granny had on her mind.Granny spent all her life taking care of the family, day in and day out.She cooked for her husband and 10 children.But whenever guests came, she and other female family members had to eat by the stove in the small kitchen.At family discussions, she was never asked for her opinion.After grandpa passed away, she had to listen to my uncle, her eldest son, fulfilled her duty as daughter, wife, and mother; yet as a person, she remained little noticed.Even though she could see herself in the mirror of the dressing table, she was never visible in the mirror of society.I have been living a different life.At home, I make decisions together with the rest of the family.In school, I often take charge of various activities the same as other boys and girls.Not only that, I can see something granny could not have dreamed of─making decisions for my own future.My life has been a series of decisions.I could choose from several universities as I came out of high school.At university, I could choose from a range of subjects from English literature to business law.And now upon graduation, I am again faced with decisions─to further my study or to go to work; to stay in China or to go abroad; to get married right away or to remain single for a bit longer.It does not matter whether or not I will become famous or rich, but I will treasure the chance to demonstrate my potential and to help other women demonstrate theirs as full members of society, fully visible in the mirror of history

First, we should have perseverance: we should not give up halfway in learning, but persevere. Otherwise, you can't learn anything, and you can't master it.
第一、要有恒心：学习不能半途而废，要持之以恒。否则是什么都学不会的，也无法融会贯通。
So we have to learn new knowledge all the time in order to achieve the best learning effect.
所以我们更得无时无刻的学习新知，才能达到最好的学习效果。

第二、不懂就要问：如果遇到不懂的地方就一定要保持着“打破沙锅问到底”的精神，老师的责任不只是传道、授业而已。

Third, we should be comprehensive: reading is not just understanding. It must be "comprehensive" and "learning for application" in order to have a good effect.
第三、要融会贯通：读书不只是懂就好了，一定要求“融会贯通”，“学以致用”，才能有很好的效果。
We should form the good habit of reading and learn the real good method of reading, so that your study will be full of fun and will not be boring.
我们要养成读书的好习惯，学习读书真正的好方法，这样你的学习一定能充满乐趣，不会枯燥乏味。

Learn to Face Our Life ActivelyLife is not easy for us.Everyday we have to face a series of problems.Students have to go to school for education,adults have to go to work for money.We all have to care for our family,or even the whole society.As a student,we feel great stress on our shoulders,many subjects and mountains of homework on backs.High school entrance examination and college entrance examination are in our hearts all the time.Hard though it is,we should learn to face it actively,for that's the way it is.As an old Chinese saying goes,there is nothing hard for a willing heart.As long as we face all the problems and trouble bravely,we can overcome them one after one.Friends,don't give up when faced with difficulties,let's face them actively.

I want to change my life I work extremely hard every day, but I’m very tired. I need to work smarter, not harder. I must find better ways to do my job. I must find more time to enjoy life. I know hard work is a part of everybody’s life. But I work too hard. My hard work is ruining my health. My hard work is killing me. Other people have time for fun, going to bars and going to parties. All I do is get in my car and go to work every day. This life is too hard. I need to make a fresh start.The secret of happiness Ladies and Gentlemen, today I’m going to talk about happiness. Where does happiness come from? It doesn’t come from other people. It doesn’t come from material things. It doesn’t come from having a lot of money and power. It doesn’t come from being popular.
