英汉金融术语的翻译方法有那些呢?英语翻译针对的是各行各业，它会涉及到各种各样生僻的专业名词以及专业知识，金融专业就是其一，看看下面的英汉金融术语的翻译吧!

1. 特有术语坚持直译

金融语体是比较正式的语体。

它的正式性主要体现在金融术语的运用上。

金融术语大致可分为两种，一种是金融特有的术语，它们仅出现在或绝大多数情况下出现在金融语体中。

例如：

In general, a nation's balance of payments is affected by the appreciation or depreciationof its currency in the foreign exchange market.

以上金融英语术语本身具有确切的含义，而且汉语中有准确的对应词语，所以可以一一对应译入，不必采用任何意译的方式。

试译：通常，外汇市场上一个国家的货币升值或贬值会影响其国际收支。

无论是名词还是动词，只要词义单一、金融业特有，就应该坚持直译的方法。

2. 非常语境把握词义

另一种是并非金融语体所独有的术语，它们可以出现在其它语体中，但在金融语体中，有其确切的含义，例如 ： acquire(获得，取得—常用意义)，(购进，兼并—金融专业意义);policy(方针，政策—常用意义)，(保险单—金融专业意义)。

例如 ：

Confirmed irrevocable LC available by draft at sight is accepted.

Confirmed 与 at sight 在普通英语中是常用词，分别解释“确认” 与“一见” ，但是在上述语境里，它们具有金融专业术语的特殊意义，即： “保证兑付的” 与“即时的.” 。

试译 ：我们接受保兑的不可撤消的即期信用证。

In some cases the MNC retains a minority of interest while in others the host country owns 100 percent and MNC only performs managerial and supervisory functions for a period of time.

此句中的“retains a minority of interest” 意为“拥有一小部分股份” ，并不是指“保留一小部分兴趣” 。

这些词看似常用词，但在金融语境中具有非常意义。

试译：在某些情况下，跨国公司拥有一小部分股份，而在另一些情况下，所在国可拥有 100%的股份，跨国公司只在一段时间内履行管理和监督的职能。

3. 避免专业误译

The corporate charter authorizes the corporation to issue and all sell shares of stock, or transfer the ownership, to enable the corporation to raise money.

原译：公司营业执照授权发行和销售股票，认购公司的所有权为公司筹措资金。

这里的“corporate charter” 是“公司章程” ，而不是“营业执照” 。

译者显然是因为对背景知识不了解，从而导致误译。

改译：公司章程授权公司发行和销售股票，转让公司所有权，以便为公司筹措资金 。

We hereby request you to issue a Letter of Guarantee as bid bond in accordance with the column shown below.

原译：我们要求按照下面所示项目开一份保函作为投标票据。

此句的误译是对投标的背景知识模糊所致。

尽管“bond” 有“票据” 、 “债券” 之意，但参加投标需要的是投标保证，或押标保证，不是译者望文生义的投标票据。

改译：特此要求你们按照下面所示项目出具一份保函作为投标保证。

从以上两例可以看出，金融翻译应该尽量熟悉专业业务，掌握术语，在翻译中求实求真。
