DLC,即Downloadable Content的英文缩写形式,直译过来就是“可下载内容”。在很多领域都有相关的说法, 但一般而言DLC用在游戏领域是最多的,即对游戏内容进行扩展的下载包。

在游戏界,不管是单机游戏还是网络游戏,都有DLC存在。例如网络游戏《魔兽世界》的DLC通常被称为“资料片”,其中“大地的裂变”就是影响比较大的DLC之一。

不过在我们提到DLC的时候,大部分时候指的是单机游戏的DLC。基本上那些叫得出名字的优秀单机游戏都会有DLC的存在,甚至DLC大于游戏本体在单机游戏界也不算奇事,可以说DLC已经是单机游戏的重要组成部分之一了。

DLC为什么对单机游戏那么重要

首要的一点就是新鲜感。单机游戏不像网络游戏那样,可以以高频次的更新来保持玩家对于游戏的新鲜感,而DLC是少数可以保持单机游戏新鲜感的手段。

第二就是可以对原有的游戏内容进行改造,甚至是颠覆式的改造。例如口碑呈U字型的《无人深空》,在发售伊始风评直线下滑,直到推出了DLC——“Next”才慢慢挽回颓势。

第三就是出于商业方面的考虑了。众所周知单机游戏尤其是3A游戏是以“高投入、长周期”为主要特征的,一款游戏从立项到真正能产生利润要经历很长时间,这段时间内游戏厂商要面临着巨大的经济压力。

以今年大火的《黑神话:悟空》为例,真正能做到“让玩家玩到”的程度至少需要1到2年的时间,而这期间就这个项目而言是只有投入没有产出的。

所以有些游戏厂商会选择先做出一部分内容,可以回收部分资金后,再用DLC的方式将剩余部分给做出来

综上所述,DLC通常指对游戏内容进行扩展的下载包,是单机游戏不可或缺的一部分。

一般指在游戏发售后,厂商又推出的下载包,对游戏内容进行扩展,如增加新地图,新游戏模式,新的地图、人物、剧情扩展等。玩家在体验原版游戏完整故事情节的同时,将享受到更多游戏扩展内容。

Galgame(日文假名:ギャルゲーム,平文式罗马字:Gyaru Gēmu,又称美少女游戏)是一种玩家可以与动画美少女进行互动的电子游戏,其受众主体曾经是日本男性,但如今的全年龄GalGame剧情面向受众已经不分男女。galgame的游戏类型大多数是vng(视觉小说)但是也有交互式的galgame。

美少女游戏是特属于日本文化的现象;在美国或欧洲的电玩工业中,少有类似的游戏类型存在。美少女游戏占据相当大的日本市场,是日本个人电脑电子游戏的大宗;不过,由于确实存在的文化差异,只有小部分此类游戏被翻译成为其他语言(主要是英文和中文)版本。

美少女游戏在个人电脑刚产生没多久就已经出现了。1982年,日本光荣公司推出了一款叫Night Life的美少女游戏。最初的Galgame并不怎么受到人们的欢迎。虽然这款游戏与二十一世纪初期的的美少女游戏相比起来有很大的不同,却是有记载的最早的一个此类作品。

在二十世纪九十年代,第一批的英语游戏都是在MS-DOS平台上执行的,且皆为十八禁游戏。
