英语散文作家

十八世纪中、后期的著名散文家有约翰逊、波斯威尔、吉朋、伯克等。以编撰英语词典而闻名于世的大学问家约翰逊也是一位著名的散文家，他为英国诗人的诗集所作的前英国散文家：
