1、year的基本意思是“年”,指地球绕太阳一周所需要的时间,通常为365天,有时也为366天,也可指与某物有关的“一年的时间”。
2、year也可指一个人的“年龄,年岁”,还可指“学年,年度”。
3、year表示“…岁的”时,其后通常要加old一词,此时year前后都须有连字符,且不可用复数形式。
4、years在表示“好几年”时,前面一般不加many。如果指几十年,甚至更长的时间,则不能用years。
