year的用法：

1、year的基本意思是“年”，指地球绕太阳一周所需要的时间，通常为365天，有时也为366天，也可指与某物有关的“一年的时间”。year也可指一个人的“年龄，年岁”，还可指“学年，年度”。

2、year表示“…岁的”时，其后通常要加old一词，此时year前后都须有连字符，且不可用复数形式。

3、years在表示“好几年”时，前面一般不加many。如果指几十年，甚至更长的时间，则不能用years。

4、year of之后往往不搭用年份的数目，除非前面有定语。

next year 是现在说话时表达明年的时间the next year 是在陈述过去的事时所提及的明年.（用于间接引语中）直接引语中的next year在间接引语中需要 变成the next near 如：I'll go to USA next year.(我明年 要去美国)She once said she would go to USA the next year.(她曾经说过她明年会去美国的.)
