不的英语是not。一、no的用法。no是一个形容词，它可以加在名词前面，用以否定这个名词，在句中作定语，意思是“没有”或“不是”。例如：No boys were sick.No men were present.There is no such disease.注意，no等于not a或not any，所以，名词前面如果用了形容词no，就不可能再用any和a。二、not的用法。not作为副词，可以放在be动词、助动词、情态动词后面，构成否定式，但行为动词一般不能直接加not构成否定式，必须借助于助动词do、does、did，而助动词do、does、did后面的动词要用原形形式，如：I don't know what else she can do for you.He didn't doubt but that she would regret some day.如果把not放在句首，句子采用倒装形式，如：Not a word did my father say.Not any hope did I have at that time.Not a single mistake did he make in the test.
