清扫社区英语

I went to clean up the school backyards and nearby parks of my community on winter break this year. I wouldn't have known how much energy and time it takes to pick up these empty bottles, cans, picnic wastes and cigarette butts if I didn't do the clean-ups by myself. It was such a mess out there before I came but I made a significantly visible improvement of the environment in these areas. I classified these garbages as recycles and non-recycables and dropped them off at different areas. Although it was one of the winter-break assignments from school, this volunteering experience meant a lot to me.
