Every day,every hour,the air,forests,soil,oceans and fresh water are becoming dirtier and dirtier and are threatening our existence. there are two main causes for the problem : the excessive use of natural resources and massive discharge of polluted waste in the course of production. Yet,man has made great progress in environmental protection. Scientists and inventors are trying to develop cleaner engines for automobiles. Governments of many countries have made laws to protect the natural resources. More and more people have realized the importance of environmental protection and are doing what they can to protect our surroundings. Still more measures should be taken to solve the problem. People should be further educated in using modern methods to protect environments ang learn to make clever use of recycle our natural resources. He waited for some time; then he said, "I cannot go to the rich man's house today, for I cannot get over the river." He began to go home. He had eaten no food that day. He began to want food. He came to the apples, and he was glad to take them out of the dust and eat them.
