性质英语表达

characteristics

形容词：描述事物的特征、性质、类属、状态等内容的一类词，主要用于修饰、丰富、限定名词的内容。

形容词根据其含义、用法可分成3大类：性质形容词、状态形容词、类别形容词。

1.性质形容词的用法

表示事物的性质或者特征的形容词叫性质形容词。它们有级的变化，能用程度副词修饰，在句子里充当定语(最多)、表语、宾语、状语(很少)。

fresh 新鲜

comfortable舒服

1)用程度副词修饰

very fresh很新鲜

extremely comfortable极舒服

rather slow相当慢

completely correct完全正确

2)有原级、比较级、最高级

原级： 比较级： 最高级：

fresh fresher freshest

comfortable more comfortable most comfortable

常见的性质形容词：

slow慢，small小，special特别

sweet甜的，tall高的，terrible可怕的

thick厚的，thin薄的,tired累的

understanding善解人意的，weak弱的，useful有用的

warm热烈的，weak弱的，wide广阔的

worried担心的，young年轻的，important重要的

interesting有趣的，kind年轻的，large大的

light轻的，long长的，loose松的

loud大声的，lovely可爱的，lucky幸运的

作定语(最主要的作用)

Everyone loves fresh fruit.

每个人都喜欢新鲜水果。

作表语

This water melon is not fresh.

这个西瓜不新鲜。

作宾补

They’ll make you comfortable on the place.

他们在飞机上会使你舒舒服服的。

作状语

Strange, he didn’t go with them.

真奇怪，他没有跟他们一块走。
