例如一月一就可写成 January the first.日期用序数词表示.也可简写为jan,1st.省略方式里数字后面的字母由序数词的最后两个字母决定.例如二号second就为2nd.三号为3rd.四号开始为4th,5th...当遇到二十一.由于是twenty-first所以必须写成21st.二十二即22nd.往下类推.但必须注意的是十一号是11th,十二号是12th.因为是eleventh和twelveth.
