不可以。Because 不能单独一个词放在句首，能这样用的含有"因为"意思的单词是therefore.旧的语法要求,because引领的原因状语从句,不能位于主句之前,但是because of 引领的原因状语可以位于句首.现在的语法没那么规范了,但是,becauese引导的原因状语从句不能位于段首,如果想放在句首也要慎用。because和because of的意思都是因为，由于。但是在用法上又有不同。
