until和till的区别为：意思不同、用法不同、侧重点不同。

一、意思不同

1、until：conj./prep.到…时，直到…为止。

2、till：conj./prep.直到n.(大商店中的)交款处，收银台，(现金出纳机的)放钱的抽屉v.耕作，犁地。

二、用法不同

1、until：用作介词用于肯定句时表示“直到…为止”，指某一动作或状态一直持续到till后面的词语所表示的时间为止，这时主句的谓语动词是延续性动词。用于否定句时表示“在…以前，直到…才”，这时主句所表示的是一种持续的否定状态，否定状态一结束，肯定动作或状态就开始。

2、till：在美式口语中有时用till代替hardly...when结构中的when或so...that结构中的that。till有时作“达到某种程度以至…”解，有时在till前面加上逗号，可译为“终于”。

三、侧重点不同
