一、第一部分 访谈(Interview)

应试技巧:

应试技巧:
1、考生应快速浏览信息卡,选择最熟悉、最有把握话题,然后根据问题后的提示组织演讲。
在准备期间,考生一定要稍做笔记。建议考生记下要点,以免在演讲的过程中,由于紧张而忘记了自己准备要讲的内容。
2、正式演讲时,考生应该记住:要做的只是一个小小的演讲。建议先告知考官要讲的话题,作为开头。然后从自己记下的要点中,选择最有把握、最熟悉的几点充分进行阐述。最后,重述主题或者就你的发言进行总结。注意:考生应该合理地组织演讲内容,做到通顺、流畅、有逻辑。尽可能地使用连接词(如first of all, finally, however, to sum up, etc. )
3、合理分配时间。一个条理清晰、逻辑严密的演讲胜过一个毫无边际、有头无尾的发言。
尽可能地运用肢体语言。记住,适时的一个手势、一个眼神,都会为你增色添彩。
最后要切忌胆怯。保持自信,大胆演讲与提问。要相信自己肯定做得到并且做得好。
三、合作与讨论(Collaborative Task and Discussion)
BEC中级口语考试的第三部分是两个考生之间进行的双向交流讨论,有时也会在三个考生间进行。它是一个合作项目,需要考生互相配合来完成任务。考官根据指导语说明任务要求后会将两个考生共用的材料发给考生,要求考生交谈。然后,考生将围绕试题卡上的问题逬行三分钟的对话。在考生交谈完后,考官会进一步问考生一些与主题相关的问题。这一部分涉及公司活动和公司决策的方方面面,主要是考查考生用适当的功能语言和策略进行互动交流的能力。
应试技巧:
1、这是一个讨论而不是角色表演,所以考生既不能只顾自己一个人说,也不能只对考官说,而是应该与另一个考生合作讨论。
2、仔细听对方说活,当考生没听清或没听懂对方的讲话时,不要不懂装懂,完全可以要求对方说慢一点,重复或解释一下;另一方面,也有责任帮助对方听懂你的话,否则,两个人不可能讨论下去。
积极参与讨论,谈话中尽量采取主动,不能总是被动地跟着对方说或者依赖对方的提醒帮助。

口试共分两部分:口语与口译。考试时间为25分钟左右。
流程为:
第一部分 3-minute talk
这部分要求大家在规定的三分钟内就所给的一个英文题目进行口语表达。要求做到无重大语法错误,表达流畅,能围绕题目进行论点阐述。
第二部分 4 passages of interpretation
这部分共有四段口译,两段英翻中,两段中翻英。每一段分四小段翻完,即共有十六小段。每小段通常在两到三小句,其中至少应有一句长难复杂句。每小段结束后磁带中发出“嘟”的声音,考生必须在第二声“嘟”之前把听到的段落翻译出来。
口试与笔试最大的区别在于没有具体的分数,而只有及格与不及格之分。中级口译共十六小段,必须要确保翻对其中的十一小段。即最多只能错五小段。如只翻对十小段,错六小段,虽然只差一小段,但结果仍然是不过。
具体到每小段的时候,考官会遵循三分之二正确率的原则。即如一小段中有六个关键信息,考生必须正确翻出至少三分之二的内容才算这小段通过,如翻对二分之一,则算不及格。
