Sex Education

China has long been considered a conservative country where people try to avoid talking about sex, especially to children. But things have started to change as people attach more importance to sex education. Now an increasing number of schools begin to offer sex education to students.

Sex education, especially at an earlier age, is vital for childrens growth. First, sex education provides children with the information they need to understand their bodies and gender roles in positive ways. Second, it boosts the likelihood that teens delay having sex. Third, it helps to prevent unwanted consequences such as premature pregnancy, HIV infection or AIDS.

To launch sex education correctly, parents, schools and the whole society should make joint efforts. At home, instead of telling the children that they were picked up on the street, parents should answer childrens questions honestly. In schools, especially high schools, sex education needs to go further, focusing, explicitly if possible, on safe sex. As for the society, it should lift taboo on sex and provide more channels for children to learn about sex.

The bar chart clearly shows the situation of outdoor activities of both Chinese and American college students. To be specific, the number of American and Chinese college students who attend outdoor activities several times a year is fairly large, but the number of students attending once a month, once a week or once a day is falling gradually. Why should this phenomenon take placeThere are two factors accounting for it. In addition, the reason why American students do more exercises than Chinese students may be that Chinese students’ workload is relatively heavy. Facing the pressure of schoolwork, they have to study harder and have no time to do sports.

From what has been discussed above, I hold that we should enhance our awareness of health and take practical actions to take part in more outdoor activities.

Is it Good for College Students to fall in love in School?

College students have more freedom than before and they also grow more and more mature in physical and mental. So it is natural that they would like to fall in love with someone. As a result, campus love becomes popular in university. For this phenomenon, people opinions vary. In my opinion, I dont agree with that phenomenon.

Their money is from their parents. Falling in love with someone will increase the burden of their family and themselves.
