注意：缩写形式后面的点不能省略，因为它是表示缩写形式的符号。
1st June、22nd September、17th October、23rd February、19th May的简写形式如下：
1st June;22nd Sept.;17th Oct.;23rd Feb.;19th Mar.。(缩写形式后面的点不能省)

如果是三位数，先读第一位，再把后两个数合起来读。如：984年可读为nine eighty-four,757年读成seven fifty-seven。
像2000年一般读成two thousand, 2001年则读成two thousand and one，以此类推， January 12th, 1993读成January the twelfth, nineteen ninety-three。
第三个数字为“零”（其他数字不是“零”）的年份的读法应当将该“零”读为O［u］。
例如： 1809年读作 eighteen O nine
