tomato、hero、potato后加-esradio、piano等词后加-s。其实，以o结尾的英语单词，表示“有生命”的事物，则加-es，无生命的，则加s。这样，以后如碰到这类可数名词。其复数形式也就把握了。甚至在以后，学到像volcano（火山）、tobacco（烟草）这些词，其复数形式加-s或-es均可，这一点就不难理解了。
