这个短语确实经常用主动形式的，都是“售罄、卖光”的意思主语可以是票、商店(The shop sold out of sth)、货品（Sleeping bags sold out almost immediately.）但是网上也看到了被动的例子：The books you ask for are all sold out应该是根据需要选择主动被动吧
