1、加州理工学院
加州理工学院（California Institute of Technology），简称为Caltech/CIT，全球最顶尖的大学之一，在世界科技界久负盛名，校园位于洛杉矶市区东北郊。学校规模很小（学生总数仅2000人左右），但在《泰晤士报高等教育》2012-2015年全球大学排名中连续四年位列第一，而哈佛大学则退居第二，该校在QS世界大学排名中也一直排在前列。在物理学、化学、航天航空、行星科学、地球科学等领域，加州理工被公认为全美第一。因此，加州理工学院也公认为最典型的精英大学之一。
2、牛津大学
牛津大学（University of Oxford），是一所位于英国牛津市的世界顶级公立大学。实际创立日期仍不清楚，但有记录的授课历史可追溯到1096年，为英语世界中最古老的大学，也是世界上现存第二古老的高等教育机构，被公认为是当今世界最顶尖的高等教育机构之一。牛津大学是一所在世界上享有顶尖大学声誉、巨大影响力的知名学府。

8、帝国理工学院
伦敦帝国学院（Imperial College London），又称帝国理工学院，或简称帝国理工，成立于1907年，位于英国伦敦，是一所享誉全球的顶尖高等学府，在2014QS世界大学排名中名列第二。帝国理工英文名字简称IC，是英国罗素大学集团成员、金砖五校之一、欧洲IDEA联盟成员，帝国理工与剑桥大学、牛津大学、伦敦政治经济学院、伦敦大学学院并称为“G5超级精英大学”，其研究水平被公认为英国大学的三甲之列，并以工程、医科专业、商学而著名。英国教育界素有“三足鼎立”说法，文科牛津，理科剑桥，而工程当属帝国理工学院。

9、苏黎世联邦理工学院
