先说说背课文的好处。背课文能够使学生全面学习单词和语法，不仅学会每个单词和句法现象的本身，还能够了解它在实际使用时的用法、搭配和其它语气特征，更好的做到学用结合。由于是整个文章或是句子一起理解和接受，所以对于单个语言单位，像单词、语法要点、搭配等的记忆更加牢固。
其次，背课文能够促使孩子多读，而且是大声朗读，这样对于孩子形成良好的语感至关重要。背一篇课文能帮助孩子强化练习的语流、语速，迅速提高英语口语水平。
另外一点也非常重要：日常生活中我们都很难给孩子提供很好的英语语言环境，很难接触到纯正的英语;并且如果想实践英语的交流，必须具备一定的水平和交流对象，这些都不太容易具备。而背一篇课文能够为孩子提供一个相对封闭的语言环境、纯正丰富的语言资料，弥补以上的不足。一篇课文流利背诵出来，更会让孩子得到英语学习的巨大乐趣和巨大的成就感，增强自信心。

If we can speak English well,we will have more chance to succeed.Because more and more people have taken notice of it,the number of the people who go to learn English has increased at a high speed. But for myself,I learn English not only because of its importance and its usefulness,but also because of my love for it.When I learn English, I can feel a different way of thinking which gives me more room to touch the world.When I read English novels,I can feel the pleasure from the book which is different from reading the translation.When I speak English, I can feel the confident from my words.When I write English,I can see the beauty which is not the same as our Chinese...I love English,it gives me a colorful dream.I hope I can travel around the world one day.
