1、SAT考试。英文全称Scholastic Assessment Test，简称SAT，被称为“美国高考”，是由美国教育考试服务中心举办的学术水平测验考试。它既是美国大学的入学条件之一，又是大学发放奖学金的重要参考指标之一。SAT分为SATI和SATII两部分，其中SATI为推理测验，SATII为专项测验。2、ACT考试。英文全称American College Test，简称ACT，与SAT一样，均被称为“美国高考”，是美国高等院校决定录取和评定奖学金发放的重要参考指标之一。ACT同样被很多美国大学承认，以美国中部和西部的院校居多。ACT考试分为四个部分：文章改错(English)，数学(Math)，阅读(Reading)，和科学推理(Science Reasoning)。另外，作文为选考。3、TOEFL考试。英文全称Test of English as a Foreign Language，简称TOEFL，由美国教育考试服务中心(ETS)主办，专门用来测试非英语国家学生的英语水平和掌握英语的熟练程度一种标准化考试。4、IELTS考试。英文全称International English Language Testing System，简称IELTS，是由英国文化委员会、剑桥大学地方考试委员会和澳大利亚教育国际开发署共同举办的国际英语水平测试。5、AP考试。是Advanced Placement的缩写，即大学预修课程，该考试适用于全球计划前往美国读本科的高中生。AP成绩不但可以抵扣成功申请美国大学的同学入学后相应课程的学分，而且AP成绩也成为美国各大学录取学生的重要依据。美国高中AP课程是由美国大学理事会(The College Board)主持，在高中阶段开设的具有大学水平的课程，有22个门类、37个学科，已在美国15000多所高中里普遍开设。
