元太祖成吉思汗（英文：Genghis Khan）（蒙古语：Činggis Qaγan，1162年－1227年8月25日），即元太祖，又称成吉思可汗，蒙古族，蒙古帝国奠基者，杰出的政治家、军事家。名铁木真（英文：Temujin），孛儿只斤氏，奇渥温姓，蒙古乞颜部人。按照蒙古起名传统，铁木真全名应为奇渥温·孛儿只斤·铁木真。至元二年（公元1265年）十月，元世祖忽必烈追尊成吉思汗庙号为太祖，至元三年（1266年）十月，太庙建成，制尊谥庙号，元世祖追尊成吉思汗谥号为圣武皇帝。 至大二年（1309年）十二月，元武宗海山加上尊谥法天启运，庙号太祖。从此之后，成吉思汗的谥号变为法天启运圣武皇帝。
