After all, the earth is only that big. The development direction of human technology must be the universe. We need to fly farther and faster to other planets and the universe. This is our direction and our goal.
地球毕竟只有那么大，人类的技术发展方向必然是宇宙，我们需要飞得更远，更快，到其他星球上去，到宇宙中去。这是我们的方向，是我们的目的。
As for the fact that the development of aerospace technology can drive the development of other technologies, for example, Apollo program has brought us a non stick pot, which is only incidental, not the main purpose and motivation of aerospace development.
至于说，宇航技术的发展可以带动其他技术的发展，比如说阿波罗计划为我们带来了不粘锅，那只是附带的，不是宇航发展的主要目的和动机。

Dear Editor,We had a discussion over whether it’s necessary to carry out the outer space explorations at a class meeting the other day. Some of us think it important to research the outer space. First, people can get a better understanding of the outer space through their explorations. Second, new resources can be found there for humans to use. Third, explorations can possibly bring about new living space for human life.However, others don’t believe so. They say this kind of exploration costs too much money. And it’s very dangerous for astronauts to do such work.I think people should do the explorations and therefore such explorations into the outer space are worth trying out.Yours,Zhou Yong
