Today we are going to talk about Halloween！ 宝宝你好啊，今天我们来说说万圣节吧。 Halloween is a western holiday. 万圣节是西方国家的节日。 It falls on the last day of October. 万圣节是十月的最后一天。 People will celebrate it from the midnight of October, 31 to November first.人们会从十月三十一日的午夜就一直开始庆祝到十一月一日。It is celebrated to praise autumn 人们庆祝这个节日是为了赞美秋天。 So we can see pumpkins everywhere on Halloween. 因此我们总能在万圣节看到南瓜。 There is also another legend about Halloween. 关于万圣节，还有一个传说。 A scary one. 一个吓人的传说哦。 Halloween is also connected with the ghosts. 人们也把万圣节和鬼魂联系在一起。 People believe that the ghosts who have no home to go will go out for food on the night of October, 31. 人们认为那些无家可归的鬼魂会在10月31日晚上出来找食物。So they decided to celebrate on that day, hoping that lighting up lights would frighten the ghosts away.因此他们决定庆祝这一天，希望庆祝的灯火能吓走鬼魂。 But now, kids will put on strange masks and frightening costumes on Halloween. 但现在呢，在万圣节这天，小朋友们会戴上面具，穿上吓人的服装。 When they finish  make-up, they will carry bags from house to house to play the game, “Trick or treat”. 打扮好后，他们会带着袋子，挨家挨户玩“不给糖就捣乱”的游戏。 Adults will put the candies into their bags.大人们会在他们的袋子里放上糖果哦。 OK, after this short introduction to Halloween, let's have a look at the book we are going to talk about today. 好了，介绍过万圣节后，一起来看看这周的绘本吧。本周小鹿选的是Karen Katz的Where is Baby's Pumpkin，这本书内容简单，画风可爱，还是本小宝宝喜闻乐见的翻翻书。一起来看看吧。Tonight is Halloween.今晚就要开始万圣节狂欢啦！ Baby is looking for her special pumpkin. 宝宝在找属于他的那个不一样的南瓜灯。 Is it under the leaves? 南瓜灯会藏在树叶下面吗？ Tonight the baby wears a black cat costume, pretending to be a cat. 今晚，小宝宝穿着黑猫的服装，假装他是只猫。 Will he find a pumpkin under the leaves？ 他会在落叶下发现南瓜吗?No!  But there’s a fuzzy black cat! 咦！树叶下面有一只毛绒绒的黑色猫咪！ The baby looks just the same as the black cat. 那个宝宝看起来跟这只黑猫一样。 The cat seems to be frightened. 那只猫好像被吓到了。 I guess he was sleeping under the leaves. 我猜他刚才应该是在树叶底下睡觉。 Is it behind the curtain?南瓜灯会在窗帘后面吗？ The baby continues to find his pumpkin. 宝宝继续找南瓜。 This time, he tries to find It behind the curtain. 这回，他试着到窗帘后面找。 What will he find this time？ 这回他又会找到什么呢？ No!
