英语周记（一） It is my honor to have the opportunity to talk about my first day in the University.As a freshman,It's the first time I left home by myself.without my parents,I had no choice but to do everything with my own hands.First of all,I started to clean my dormitory with the new and unacquainted roomates.And then,we went to the supermarket near our University to buy some daily necessities.After everything was prepared,we had a chat with each other so that I could get some ideas of my roomates. The New Year Festival finishes at Lantern Festival after two weeks we usually eat rice dumplings.They are round and so they bring us good luck. （八）How to Make Dumplings?Many Chinese people like dumplings.But how to make them?First,make the filling. You can choose your favorite meat, such as pork, beef, or mutton, chop it up and mix it with cabbage.Second,make the dough. You should measure your wheat flour to go with the filling, put it in a container, pour water bit by bit, stir it strenuously to make it sticky,then let it rest for about 20 minutes. After that you can cut part of the dough and put it on pastry hoard, knead it and cut it into small pieces. You press each piece with the pahn of your hand slightly and then roll it with a rolling pin into a round piece.Finally put the dumplings into a pan and cook them for about 20 minutes.Now they are ready to eat. （九）"Knowledge is power."We know knowledge is very important in this society.Now we study many subjects，such as chinese，maths，english，physics，chemistry and so on.To me ,English is my favourite subject because it is the most interesting subject .But I find studying English is very difficult. So if you ask which subject is the most difficult to me.My answer will be English.Now I am a student,everyday I have more than one English classes,I like studying it very much and I hope I can study it very well,so I can talk with foreigners and know the foreign countries things,it is very useful. （十） Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is, time always goes on. It won’t stay to wait for somebody. You can’t use anything to exchange time. Time is also a fair thing. Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high reputation, time won’t leave them more. Today I found I hadn’t enough time. Although I have more than a-month holiday, but I found I had a lot of things to do. I had a lot of homework to do and I am essential to complete the homework as soon as I have time. 希望能帮到你~

1 It was the first day of our summer holiday. All of us were very happy. Why? Because we have one months to do things we love to do. We are free.Although we have some homework. But we can finish them in several days. And the rest time we can make good use of. My god! We have been very tired after hard studying. In winter holidays, I want to have full sleepand eat good food in order to replenish myself. Last but not the least, I will have a good rest. 2 It was the second day of our summer holiday. I felt good. I felt I am free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Zhongshan. So I live alone but I don’t feel lonely. But I didn’t do something special. I stayed at home and watched TV. Oh! I wrote an Englishdaily composition. It was my homework. Today, I have slept for 14 hours.I thought I was very tired. It was time for dinner. I must go! I am very hungry. I am planning to spend my summer holiday on sports this year. Playing basketball is always my favourite, so some of my classmates and I will form a small team and play basketball together. My mother was very angry with me when I went home. I am very unhappy to-day. I woke up early this morning. I went out to play with my neighbor. We watched cartoon at his home. After I went home about 4 O'clock in the afternoon, I helped my mother to do some house work. She is very happy so I am happy too. 5 I am sick to-day. When I woke up in the morning, I didn't feel well. My mother took me to the doctor and the doctor gave me a shot. It was very painful. Since I didn't feel well, I went to bed real early. I felt better to-day. Since I was sick yesterday, my mother didn't let me go out to play. I had to stay home and watch television. There was a good movie on the television in the afternoon. It's about a dog. It was so much fun and I enjoyed it very much. 6 I am much better this morning. I am very happy. My cousin came to see me. We played computer games together for a long time. My parents took us to have dinner in the restaurant. I like the food very much. My mother told me that I have to do some home work at home. I did two hours of home work and getting tired. When I found some words that I didn't understand, I looked it up in the dictionary. It is about a little girl who lost her mother on the street and could not find her way home. I finished the book and I like it very much.8.oday my parents took me to my grandfather’s house. I played with my cousin. Suddenly my cousin suggested going to the park and having a rest. “that’s a good idea.” I said. Then we prepared for the traveling. After lunch, the sky turned dark. After that , it rained heavily. It meant our plan is impossible. What a pity day! Tomorrow is New Year’s Day, my family have had a completely cleaning for two days. Then my father and I decorated our flat and my mother cooked delicious food for our meal. After supper we watched TV program. How happy we were! The day after yesterday I received 2000 yuan from my relatives as my pocket money. I was so happy！ Today my parents took me to my grandfather’s house. I played with my cousin. Suddenly my cousin suggested going to the park and having a rest. “that’s a good idea.” I said. Then we prepared for the traveling. After lunch, the sky turned dark. After that , it rained heavily. It meant our plan is impossible.
