1、名词形式变化
名词的形式变化主要有单数、复数、所有格的变化。
例:there are many students living at school,the(child)houses are all far from schoo1.
由students一词可以判断出横线处应填复数,且作为houses的定语,所以应用其所有格形式,故答案为child的复合变化形式——复数的所有格children’s。
2、动词形式变化。
动词的形式变化比较多,有谓语的变化(时态、语态、语气),有非谓语的变化(不定式、动名词、现在分词、过去分词)。
例:a talk(give)tomorrow is written by profess or zhang.
句中的iswritten是整句的谓语,所以横线所在的动词应当用作非谓语。从tomorrow可以看出,报告是“将来”作的,故用不定式;且报告是give动作的承受者,故可以判断出横线所在处用give的不定式被动式——to be given。
3、代词形式变化。
代词形式变化通常是与人称变化有关的三大类五小类,即人称代词(主格和宾格)、物主代词(形容词性和名词性)、反身代词。另外还有几个不定代词的形式变化,如noone/none、other/another等。
例:the kingd ecided to see the painter by(he).
由介词by可以看出,横线处应填反身代词himself。
4、形容词、副词比较级变化。
英语中大部分形容词和表方式的副词都有原级、比较级和最高级的变化。构成比较级和最高级的方式,或通过加后缀一er和.est,或在词前imore/less和most/least,且形容词的最高级还要冠以the。
例:i am——(tall)than liu wen.he is the tallest students in myclass.
此题后句交代了liuwen是班上最高的学生,那“我”肯定比他矮,所以不能用taller,只能用表示程度不如的“lesstall”。

2、句子种类口诀
句子按用途分四大体,陈述疑问感叹和祈使。陈述用来叙述一件事。疑问主要用来提问题。
祈使表达命令和请求。表达强烈感情感叹句。上述九是句种之定义。祈使主语you被抛弃。
若将其变成否定形式,动词之前加don’t是正理
3、冠词基本用法
名词是秃子,常要戴帽子,
可数名词单,须用a或an,
辅音前用a,an在元音前,
若为特指时,则须用定冠,
复数不可数,泛指the不见,
碰到代词时,冠词均不现。
冠词是中考必考的语法知识之一,也是中考考查的主要对象。
以上口诀包括的意思有:
①名词在一般情况下不单用,常常要和冠词连用;
②表示不确指的可数名词单数前要用不定冠词a或an,确指时要用定冠词the;
③如复数名词表示泛指,名词前有this,these,my,some等时就不用冠词。
4、名词所有格用法
名词所有格,表物是“谁的”,
若为生命词,加“’s”即可行,
词尾有s,仅把逗号择;
并列名词后,各自和共有,
前者分别加,后者最后加;
若为无生命词,of所有格,
前后须倒置,此是硬规则。
①有生命的名词所有格一般加s,但如果名词以s结尾,则只加“’”;
②并列名词所有格表示各自所有时,分别加“’s”,如果是共有,则只在最后名词加“’s”;
③如果是无生命的名词则用of表示所有格,这里需要注意它们的顺序与汉语不同,aofb要翻译为b的a。

重点复习:掌握句子的基本结构
首先,我们必须熟练掌握简单句的基本句型结构:
(1) 主语+谓语(+宾语+宾补) (2) 主语+系动词+表语
其次,我们要充分了解充当各个句子成分的典型词类:
(1) 充当主语或宾语的典型词类是名词或代词。此外,还有动名词、不定式短语等。
(2) 充当谓语的一定是动词。(3) 充当补语或表语的典型词类是形容词。
(4) 在名词前作定语的典型词类是形容词或形容词性物主代词。
(5) 作状语的典型词类是副词。
再次,我们还要掌握句子的扩展结构:两个或几个简单句之间若不用句号或分号,就必须要用连词,否则,句子的结构就不完整。连词主要有以下四类:
(1) 用and, but,or,while(而,却),when(就在这个时候)等构成并列句。
(2) 用if,unless,before,after,until,although,though,as,since,because,so,so that等构成含状语从句的复合句
(3) 用who, which, that, when, where, why等构成含定语从句的复合句。(这里要提醒考生的是往往不给任何提示的空就是填连词或关系词的,但也须结合句子结构来分析。)
(4) 用that,if/whether(是否),wh-等构成含名词性从句的复合句。

His demand is that all of us (should) be present at the meeting. 注意二:以上这类动词中有时候有的动词的宾语从句不用虚拟语气,必须根据句子的意思来判断。 What he said suggested(表明)that he did not agree with us. It is/was + 形容词 / 过去分词 + that + (should) + 动词原形这些形容词主要表示必要性、重要性、强制性、合适性、义务性,即某人对某事的反应。 important, natural, desirable, possible, astonishing, advisable(可取的, 明智的), anxious, appropriate, compulsory(义务的;强制的;强迫的), crucial (至关紧要的), eager, essential, fitting, imperative (命令的, 强制的, 必要的), improper, natural, necessary, obligatory (义不容辞的, 必须的), preferable, proper, urgent, vital, willing shocked, requested It was essential that the application forms be sent back before the deadline.
