I have done some voluntary work before. In April this year, I became a volunteer for the 2014 Wuxi International Marathon I worked hard and did well. Dear Sir/Madame, I’m glad to know that Thayer Academy is hosting the Chinese Culture Week during this summer vacation. And I’d like to work as a volunteer to help people know more about China. Now I’m a high school student and will graduate this June. I’m good at speaking English and I once won the first prize in our school English contest. Also, I have a good knowledge of the Chinese culture and I’m willing to help others. I think I’m fit for the job. As a volunteer, I am able to make American people understand China better, making them interested in learning the Chinese culture such as Chinese arts, history, diets and so on.
