有科比的,要不?Kobe Bryant was born August 23rd, 1978, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The son of famed NBA star Joe "Jellybean" Bryant (of 76ers, Clippers and Rockets fame), Kobe has two older sisters, Sharia and Shaya. If his given name sounds familiar, it may be because he was named after a type of steak, which was seen on a menu before his birth. With the power to dunk, shoot and dribble in his genes, Bryant attended Lower Merion High School, after having spent a part of his childhood in Italy. While in high school, Bryant proved to be a star player on the courts, and earned enough honors and triumphs to make up for his lack of college basketball experience.

坦丁堡的血泪

Tracy McGrady, simply known as "T-mac", was born on May 24, 1979 in Bartow, Fl to Melanise Williford and grew up in Auburndale, FL. He was the product of an area called "the Hill" in Auburndale. It is a quaint town of about 9,000, surrounded by lakes halfway between Orlando and Tampa. At Auburndale he quickly became a two-sport star. His first love was baseball with aspirations of playing Major League Baseball. Some Auburndale coaches where certain McGrady would be playing in a Major League ballpark instead of the NBA hardwood. Tracy's family has been a major influence in his life. His Mother Melanise and his Grandmother Roberta raised Tracy. He, eventually, grew to know both women as "mom". Melanise Williford worked as a chambermaid at a Disney World hotel. She made a daily 90-minute commute from her home, near Tampa, in order to get to work each day to support the family. His dad, Tracy McGrady Sr., has had his separate life, but that does not mean he hasn't been there for Tracy. "My dad's been around," he says. "He did what he had to do. He wasn't a bad father." Joe Hopkins, Tracy’s coach from Mount Zion Christian Academy, has been a big part of Tracy's life. Joe taught him to respect others, himself and for the game. "He's my backbone," Tracy says. "If it weren't for Coach Hopkins, none of this would be possible." Hopkins, the basketball coach at Mount Zion Christian Academy in Durham, North Carolina, received a call about Tracy from Alvin Jones Jr., a basketball coach at Kathleen High, a neighboring High School to Auburndale High. Hopkins drove down to Orlando to go to Disney World with his family, and he stopped in Auburndale to meet with Tracy and his "moms". Hopkins offered Tracy a scholarship to Mount Zion on the ride back to Durham with Tracy, and the rest is history.

Tracy McGrady Biography: Houston Rockets small forward/shooting guard Tracy "T-Mac" McGrady was born in Bartow, Fla., on May 24, 1979. The 6' 8" hoops prodigy was one of the earliest players to go straight out of high school and get drafted into the National Basketball Association (NBA). Taken ninth overall by the Toronto Raptors, McGrady very nearly went to the Chicago Bulls in a deal that would have sent Bulls small forward Scottie Pippin to the Vancouver Grizzlies, but superstar point guard Michael Jordan threatened retirement if his teammate was to be traded away. McGrady grew up playing baseball and basketball in his hometown of Auburndale, Fla. When he was young, his father wasn't around much, and he was raised by his mother and grandmother. He attended Auburndale High School, and when a neighboring town's coach saw him play he contacted Joe Hopkins, the basketball coach at Mount Zion Christian Academy in Durham, North Carolina. Hopkins took T-Mac to visit the school, and on the way he offered him a full scholarship. His NBA career would begin after leaving Mount Zion. Early in his career he was overshadowed by teammate Vince Carter, who is also McGrady's cousin. In 2000 the two would lead Toronto to its first postseason but failed to reach the second round. The next fall T-Mac was traded to the Orlando Magic where he improved so much during his first season in his new home that he made the all-star team. McGrady kept on improving, and in the 2002-03 season he averaged 32 points per game, winning the NBA scoring title. The following season he averaged 28 points per game, capped off with a career high 62 against the Washington Wizards late in the year. During the 2004 off season McGrady was traded to the Houston Rockets in a seven player deal. There he teamed up with 7' 6" Chinese phenom Yao Ming, and together they led the team to the playoffs
