得到英文推荐信方法如下：
1、选择写推荐信的老师
理想情况下，应该找对你比较熟悉、认可你的能力，以及你们有过相关合作的人。比如，一位带领你做过研究的熟悉你的教授。除此之外，英国留学一般需要找2位推荐人。如果是在校的学生，那么可以选择2位学术推荐人。
2、向推荐人请求推荐信
可以写一封正式的邮件。邮件标题要简明扼要，可以直接表达你想要推荐信的想法。开头做好自我介绍，说明选择对方作为推荐人的理由，告诉老师你可以给他提供的材料，或者你希望他能在推荐信中提到的点。因此你可以直接附上你的个人简历、陈述或成绩单等，以便老师更了解你。
3、提醒推荐人截止日期
考虑到老师平时都会比较忙，有可能会忘掉推荐信的事，所以你应该在信件到期的前几周提醒你的推荐人，并询问你是否还有其他可以发送给他们并协助他们写信的材料。如果任何材料延迟，程序通常会拒绝你的整个申请，因此你的推荐人必须按时收到信件。
4、推荐信的书写
一是老师自己写英文推荐信，直接交给你。二是你写好英文推荐信给老师，但这个要提前问老师同不同意。三是老师写中文推荐信，或者用中文写内容最后找老师签字，然后拿中文推荐信去公证处进行翻译公证。如果推荐人是国外的老师的话，就直接邮件或者当面沟通签字就可以。
