Shenzhen is a sub-provincial city of Guangdong province in southern People's Republic of China, situated next to Hong Kong. Shenzhen is a center of foreign investment and since the late 1970s has been one of the fastest growing cities in the world. It is also the busiest port in China after Shanghai. In the past two decades, outsiders have invested more than $30 billion in Shenzhen for building factories and forming joint ventures.Shenzhen is situated in the subtropical part of China, located at about the Tropic of Cancer. The weather is generally pleasant in Shenzhen, temperate and mild in the autumn; there is a bit of cool breeze in the winter, but it is just warm enough to do anything.Shenzhen boasts large shopping malls, including Coco Park, MixC, and Kingglory, which carry luxury retailers such as Seibu, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Armani. For everyday purchases, citizens go to Dongmen and SEG Plaza. Shenzhen is home to the world's ninth tallest building, the Shun Hing Square (Diwang Building). The second tallest building in Shenzhen is SEG Plaza at a height of 356 meters (292 meters to roof-top). It is located in the commercial and shopping district of Hua Qiang Bei . ShenZhen is the youngest city of China.
Though it has a history of 7,000 years, its true development didn't start until 1980 when China start its refom and openging policy, so I believe most of of the Chinese will recognize it as the youngest city. With its vigour of youth, Shenzhen has developed at an incredible speed. In a time range of 30 years, it has changedfroma nameless fish town to one of the most prosperous city in China. And Shenzhen yet, hasn't stopped its pace of growing. In summer2011, it will hold the 26th Universiade whose magor stadium, Chunchan, has became a mew sight of the city.
I firmly believe Shenzhen will be even more recognized worldwidely after this game.

I have never been to Shenzhen before. Many times, I dream of visiting Shenzhen because Shenzhen is a very modern,busy and beautiful city. and today, my dream has e true.
I am walking around the city center of Shenzhen and there are so many tall buildings on the sides of the streets. the streets are very big,straight and clean.I can see the buses,taxis,trains and cars on the road. people can choose their favourite way to go to work or travel. because there are a lot of department stores and supermarkets in Shenzhen,people can go shopping any where they wanted.
At night,Shenzhen bees even more beatiful and colourful with all kinds of light. by walking on the street, you can't really tell where it is. it may be HongKong,Shanghai.
There are many scenery spots in Shenzhen.such as Folk Culture Village, Happy Valley, window of the world. but my favourite place is the window of the world.because i needn't go abroad but i can see the most of famous places in the world.
Shenzhen is an amazing city and i enjoy my visiting there so much.

My hometown, Shenzhen, is beautiful, clean and tidy. In the southern part of the country, it is a seaside city with mountains and water. It's like spring all the year round, but it's not very cold in winter, and it's not very hot in summer. The sky is so blue, the air is so fresh, the sky is so bright...
The mountain of Shenzhen Qifeng list, Lotus Hill, Nanshan beyond count, and small Nanshan, Wutong Mountain...... These mountains are very spectacular, one of the most famous to the number of "Lotus Hill". Lotus Hill in the north of the Shenzhen Futian District, it is not very steep and magnificent, only 106 meters above sea level, but it has a beautiful artificial lake, can be used for children, people boating fishing; it has a wide Kite Square, adult children love flying kites in the square on the lawn, watching the kite fly upwards. The mood is like a kite, fly, happy. Lotus Hill, the most famous, is a great man on the hilltop square, the statue of Grandpa Deng. Grandpa Deng, go with head high and chest out step forward. The people coming to Lotus Hill to "visit" Grandpa Deng every day are in a steady stream. I grew up at the foot of Lotus Mountain at a young age, and I was one of the regular guests. Listen to mama said President Xi to Shenzhen specially to give grandpa Deng flowers, it is the symbol of Shenzhen's development and progress!
Shenzhen is beautiful, and water is beautiful. Shenzhen Haimeide fascinating! Dameisha, Idaho is the famous tourist resort. Among them, my favorite is Dameisha, where the sea is connected to the sky. The sky is blue, the sea is green, golden beaches, warm, very comfortable to step up. The quiet mountains, water is moving, such as mountain of indomitable spirit tree, water like a large green plate. The seagull flew in the blue sky, and it cried aloud as if it enjoyed the beauty of the sea.
I love my hometown, I want to study well, make the day up, and build it more beautifully with my own skills.
