提起电子游戏，恐怕没有接触过它的大学生已经不多了。从DOS系统下的俄罗斯方块、到WINDOWS操作系统下的各类大型网络游戏，仿佛在一夜之间，带有竞技色彩的电子游戏就如水如潮般地席卷了整个大学校园。眼下，从很早以前的电子游戏机到现在简单的电脑游戏，我们每个人都能够说出那么几种来。毋庸置疑，这些都曾经是我们童年生活中的趣事。如今，想来仍回味悠长。网络游戏发展至今，仍然来势凶猛，大有日新月异之势，在我们感叹应接不暇的同时，网络高手们已经开始了新的寻欢旅程。我们不能不承认，是网络给我们的生活方式带来了一场革命。在网络这个极度虚幻的空间里，有多少“英雄豪杰”导演着他们的快意情仇，又有多少“豪侠壮士”演绎着他们的儿女情长。因为网络游戏，我们放弃了同伙伴交流的机会，只顾单身拼杀；我们远离了刀光剑影的武打小说，和佳人如梦的言情故事，一个人沉浸在一块彩屏显出的方寸之地。在我们的眼球为之一亮时，又不能不为自己所爱的人沉溺于游戏当中而忧心忡忡。根据网管会的统计，我们山东大学三校区共有个人电脑10000余台，电脑持有者低龄化相当迅速。平时功课较少，没有考研压力的同学就开始了“选修课必逃，必修课选逃”，网络“必修”。宿舍没有电的时候，他们就到学校附近的网吧去“升级”。而宿舍有电的时候，他们就通宵达旦地玩，各种游戏里的角色，配置，他们了如指掌，各种游戏里的词汇更是他们的口头禅，什么“PK”，什么外挂私服啦，说的我们云里雾里。在我们惊叹于网络游戏的进步神速时，我们不能不发出“这个世界真精彩”的感喟。有人说：在飞速发展的当代社会，有了网络，于是就有了当今的堕落天使。有人说：网络游戏是良师益友，让我们在心力交瘁时，充分放松身心，享受虚幻的真实。有人说，网络游戏是洪水猛兽，让我们在青春少年之时玩物丧志，不思进取，注就惨淡的一生。在采访调查过程中，笔者记录了两位同学的谈话：材料学院校级优秀学生干部李扬说：“我认为网络游戏玩的是其中的奥秘，不一定非要争第一，我把玩游戏当成是一种娱乐休闲的方式。自己有电脑，如果成天价玩，一没有时间二没有精力，合起来就是劳民伤财昧良心。这又何苦呢？”因为玩网络游戏而成绩屡挂红灯的李某说：“我玩的游戏是集体游戏，起先我当然也是菜鸟级的，纯粹就是游戏玩我。极其郁闷，等我混到了BOSS级的时候，我也可以一览众山小了。我可以炒了任何一个对我不恭的人。”在我看到他的神气时，真为他的学习成绩捏一把汗。我们不妨先看看游戏创造者的初衷，一个好的游戏是通过网络带给人们一个舒适的放松环境，本意并非要我们为之废寝忘食。其娱乐的最终导向也应该是培养游戏者的高尚情操，如英雄救美、除暴安良等。而不是对嗜杀成性，黑白不分等不良认识的有意鼓动。从以上两个同学的事例中我们可以得出这样的结论：网络游戏是一把双刃剑。游戏它只能是一种“佐料”而不能成为主食。尤其是象我们这样的年轻人，一旦陷入游戏便很难自拔。奉劝广大的游戏爱好者，莫把青春赌明天。就让我用一位同学的精彩回答作为本文的结语吧：玩游戏不能玩物丧志，如果你真对游戏感兴趣，那你就去创作一个游戏，让别人玩去吧！
