区别一：意思不同

1、travel：长途行走；旅行；游历；(以某速度、朝某方向或在某距离内)行进，转送，传播；经长途运输仍不变质；经得住长途运输

2、travelling：旅行的；巡回的；流动的；旅行用的

区别二：词性不同

1、travel可以作动词，也可以名词，表示旅行；旅游；游历

2、travelling可以作动词，也可以名词，还可以作形容词。

区别三：用法不同

1、ravel泛指旅行时，用作不可数名词，不加不定冠词；如果指一次较长时间、且去过多处地方的旅游时，常用复数形式travels。travel可指“旅行笔记，游记”，通常用复数形式，但不加many或数字修饰。

例如：He met many interesting people in his travels。

旅行中他遇到了许多有趣的人。

2、travelling只能与be动词构成动名词形式，一般不单独使用。

例如：I go to bed early if I'm travelling the next day。

如果第二天去旅行我就早睡。

1、Last summer vacation I went to Beijing with my family . First day,we went go the Great Wall because it is the pride of our Chinese and a wonder in the world.Then we went to the summer palace We saw many beautiful sceneries there. The next day we went to the Tiananmen square ,and we tasted Beijing duck. In the afternoon we went to the birds nest and the water cube.Though we were tired we were very happy.I learned much knowledge that I cant learn in the textbooks so I will never forget this interesting trip. 2、去年夏天，我和家里人去了北京。首先我们去了长城，因为它是我们中国的骄傲而且还是世界遗迹。接着我们去了颐和园，我们在那里看到很多美丽的风景。第二天我们去了天安门广场，吃了烤鸭。下午去了鸟巢和水立方。虽然很累，但是很开心。我学到了很多书本上没有的知识。所以我不会忘记这次有趣的旅行。
