KONAMI是一家日本游戏公司。谁是日本最具影响力的游戏软件商？你可能会毫不犹豫的回答是SQUARE-ENIX。这家新近合并成立的日本游戏软件商之旗舰固然有着无以匹敌的强大号召力，然而真正在规模上屹立业界之巅的则是KONAMI（科乐美）。KONAMI这一名称来自KOuzuk（上月）、NAkama（仲真）、Matsuda（松田）和Ishihara（石原），自1969年创办至今已经有33年的历史，可以说是业界的老字号了。不管你喜欢哪种类型的游戏，在KCE出品的游戏中总会找到自己的最爱--合金装备、寂静岭、胜利十一人、心跳回忆、魂斗罗、沙罗曼蛇、恶魔城、幻想水浒传、游戏王、DDR……KONAMI几乎在所有主流游戏类型上都有响当当的经典游戏系列，而如此广泛的大作系列或许就是KONAMI不败的理由吧！KONAMI真正的兴起是在80年代末90年代初，当时依靠大量FC游戏软件的成功以及一大批制作精良的街机游戏，KONAMI在日本视频游戏市场可以说是所向披靡威风八面，到1992年KONAMI就顺理成章的坐上了日本第三方厂商的头把交椅。1992年世嘉《VR赛车》、1993年NAMCO《山脊赛车》以及世嘉的《VR战士》掀起了3D游戏的狂潮，人们开始期待3D游戏在家用机平台上的出现。尽管KONAMI有着强劲的经济实力，然而在技术力上却是先天不足，在这场新革命中KONAMI受到不小的冲击，1994至1995期间该公司出现了第一次运营亏损，1995年总计每股净损失达4美元。其后KONAMI开始重新部署战略计划，其所出产游戏渐渐从射击类为重点转为体育及动作类等游戏。进入2000年之后，KONAMI再次焕发了惊人的光芒，99年KONAMI股票在伦敦上市、2002年9月KONAMI股票正式登陆纽约，科乐美株式会社成为世界同行业中唯一一家国际性上市企业。2002年度KONAMI营业额逾2500亿日元，当之无愧的成为日本游戏软件商之霸者。经过多年的发展，KONAMI已经成长为一家全球知名的国际娱乐企业，它主要从事家用娱乐软件产品、在线游戏及其他电子娱乐产品的制造及销售。其运营的健身俱乐部，至2002年3月底已有219家分部，市场占有率为全日本第一位。KONAMI旗下最重要部门当属KCET（东京）及KCEJ（日本），KCET以及KCEO（大阪）是KONAMI最早成立的分部，KCET的看家作品就是球迷们的最爱"WE"系列，另外"心跳回忆"、"幻想水浒传"等系列均有极高的知名度；KCEJ分为WEST和EAST两个小组，WEST组即大名鼎鼎的"小岛组"，MGS"合金装备"的诞生让该组一下就成为社内最炙手可热的开发力量，另外EAST组也是社内的摇钱树，大赚其钱的一些动漫改编游戏如"游戏王"等就是出自该组。KONAMI旗下还有KCE STUDIO、KCE SCHOOL、AM、CM、CS、CP、PS、SP、HE等事业本部，其经营范围包括大型街机、杂志出版物、健身俱乐部、体育用品、"柏青哥"弹珠机等。 作为一家典型的高产型软件商，KONAMI在其二十几年的游戏开发生涯中出品了无数脍炙人口的经典，尽管如此多数玩家们仅仅是喜欢KONAMI的部分游戏，而真正喜欢KONAMI的玩家却并不是很多。这或许是因为KONAMI实在是一个风格多变的软件商吧。KONAMI最经常的手段就是先构思出一个绝妙的游戏创意，然后根据这种创意不断推出续作或者衍生产品，直到所有玩家都讨厌了这种创意之后再去开发其他题材游戏。因此玩家们往往对于KONAMI同一系列的游戏又爱又恨。不过榨取产品的最后一滴商业价值也是商业社会的必然定律吧！毕竟KONAMI带来的游戏经典至少在数量上是其它第三方厂商所无法企及的。KONAMI官方网站：
