一、意思不同

1.hate to do意思：不喜欢

2.hate doing意思：讨厌做某事;憎恨做某事

二、用法不同

1.hate to do用法：基本意思是“憎恨”“厌恶”“讨厌”，指相当厌恶，可含有敌意或恶意。口语中可表示“不喜欢”“后悔”。hate是及物动词，可接名词、代词、动词不定式、动名词、虚拟语气的that从句或疑问词从句作宾语，也可接由动词不定式或现在分词充当补足语的复合宾语。

2.hate doing用法：hate一般不用于进行体。hate作“嫌恶，讨厌”“仇恨情绪”解时，是不可数名词，作“所恨的人或物”解时，是可数名词。其后常接介词for或of。hate接动词不定式表示一次性动作，而接动名词表示经常性动作。

三、侧重点不同

1.hate to do侧重点：强调动作，暂时性的讨厌。

2.hate doing侧重点：强调状态，就是真的很讨厌做什么。
