Similarities and Differences between Easter and Qing Ming Jie Qing Ming Jie is a traditional Chinese festival celebrated 106 days after the winter solstice to mark the middle of Spring and also Tomb Sweeping Day – to commemorate their ancestors by burning fake money for the departed. Young and old pray before their ancestors, sweep the tombs and offer food to their ancestors. As for Easter, comes from Eastre, an ancient Anglo-Saxon goddess, originally of the dawn. In pagan times an annual spring festival was held in her honor. Some Easter customs have come from this and other pre-Christian spring festivals. Others come from the Passover feast of the Jews, observed in memory of their deliverance from Egypt. The resurrection of Jesus took place during the Passover. In the early days of Christianity Easter and the Passover were closely associated.

Prior to A.D. 325, Easter was variously celebrated on different days of the week, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. In that year, the Council of Nicaea was convened by emperor Constantine. It issued the Easter Rule which states that Easter shall be celebrated on the first Sunday that occurs after the first full moon on or after the vernal equinox. However, a caveat must be introduced here. The "full moon" in the rule is the ecclesiastical full moon, which is defined as the fourteenth day of a tabular lunation, where day 1 corresponds to the ecclesiastical New Moon. It does not always occur on the same date as the astronomical full moon. The ecclesiastical "vernal equinox" is always on March 21. Therefore, Easter must be celebrated on a Sunday between the dates of March 22 and April 25. The Easter Bunny 复活兔The Easter Bunny is not a modern invention. The symbol originated with the pagan festival of Eastre. The goddess, Eastre, was worshipped by the Anglo-Saxons through her earthly symbol, the rabbit. The Germans brought the symbol of the Easter rabbit to America. It was widely ignored by other Christians until shortly after the Civil War. In fact, Easter itself was not widely celebrated in America until after that time. The Easter Egg 复活蛋As with the Easter Bunny and the holiday itself, the Easter Egg predates the Christian holiday of Easter. The exchange of eggs in the springtime is a custom that was centuries old when Easter was first celebrated by Christians. From the earliest times, the egg was a symbol of rebirth in most cultures. Eggs were often wrapped in gold leaf or, if you were a peasant, colored brightly by boiling them with the leaves or petals of certain flowers. Today, children hunt colored eggs and place them in Easter baskets along with the modern version of real Easter eggs -- those made of plastic or chocolate candy.

Easter is the anniversary of the resurrection of Jesus Christ after the crucifixion. It is held on the first Sunday after March 21 or the full moon. It is a traditional festival in Western Christian countries.

Easter is one of the most important Christian festivals. According to the Bible, Jesus, the son of God, was born in a manger. When he was 30 years old, he selected 12 students to start preaching. In the past three and a half years, he has been treating diseases, preaching, driving out ghosts, helping all kinds of people in need, and explaining the truth of the kingdom of heaven to others.

Until God's time, Jesus Christ was betrayed by his disciple Judas, captured and interrogated, and crucified by Roman soldiers. Before he died, he predicted that he would rise again in three days.

Sure enough, on the third day Jesus rose. According to the interpretation of the Bible, "Jesus Christ is the son of the incarnation, in the afterlife to redeem the sins of the world, to become the scapegoat of the world.". That's why Easter is so important to Christians.
