May 20th Wednesday Cloudy and drizzle.
Yesterday my classmates and I went to on a picnic. According to our plan we would climb the West Mountain.
Early in the morning all of us gathered at the gate of our school, we started of at seven, soon it began to have a little rain. We kept on riding for an hour till we reached
the foot of the mountain.
The little rain stopped then. We began to climb. Soon we reached the top of the mountain. How beautiful it was when we looked at the view from the top. We ran. sang, jump,
played chess, and had the pictures taken on the top of the mountain. and had lunch on the rocks. How happy we were!
After the lunch we went down the mountain. We got home at four, all of us almost gave out.
Perhaps autumn is the most pleasant season of the year. The weather is neither too hot nor too cold. It is the best time for going on a trip.
Last Sunday we went to the countryside. There was golden wheat all over the fields/The fields were covered with golden wheat. Large and colourful apples and pears were hanging on the trees. We could see some peasants were busy getting in the crops in the fields, and others were picking fruits under the trees. All the baskets were full of lovely fruits. It was also the fruit of the peasants' labour. “ No pains, no gains. ” What a magnificent/beautiful picture(it was)! It seemed as if we were wandering in a splendid/wonderful world.
I love autumn. I love the harvest time.

This summer vacation, my parents and I went to Beijing to visit the Great Wall on the first day and the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace on the second day; During the play, I also took some photos.
I think the trip is very interesting. Beijing is a beautiful and clean city. The only regret is that the weather is too hot, which makes me feel a little uncomfortable, but overall, the trip was very pleasant.
