更喜欢而不是英语

两种翻译都对。其实这就是汉语跟英语不能完全对应的一种情况。preferAtoB，在英语中仅仅表示A与B比较，A>B，而并没有涵盖是否喜欢B。而翻译成汉语了，就会产生一些歧义，人们就会关注这个人是否喜欢B。因此，只要表示更喜欢A就可以了，是否喜欢B，并没有意义。如果从英语翻译成汉语，preferAtoB，只有一种意思，就是更喜欢A。如果从汉语翻成英语，要表示喜欢A，而不喜欢B，不可以用preferAtoB，只能用LikeA,butdonotlikeB.

1、prefer to do ......rather than do

prefer to较喜欢，宁愿; 提升某人为

rather than…而不…，与其…倒不如…; instead of sb/sth 而不是

2、prefer doing to doing

would rather do宁愿，宁可

than比; 宁愿…而不愿; 除…以外; 一…就; 超过

4、would prefer to do.......than do

would prefer宁愿; 更喜欢

than比; 宁愿…而不愿; 除…以外; 一…就; 超过

5、would like to do...comparing with

would like to愿意，意欲

comparing比较，对照( compare的现在分词 ); 把…比做; 比喻; 比拟（常与 to连用）

with随着; 和，跟; 关于; 和…一致
