1、kind用作名词时的意思是“种类”,指一事物与其他事物相区别的属性; 也可指事物本身所具有的特殊性,即“本质,性质”,此时多为不可数名词。

2、kinds of后面如为可数名词,单数和复数均可。kind of用于口语中还可作“有些,一点儿”解,在句中用作状语。

3、kind of...用作主语时,其谓语动词用单数形式; 而kinds of...用作主语时,其谓语动词用复数形式,与of后名词的数无关。
