一、remain用法如下：

1、remain主要用作不及物动词,常与away,behind,in,of,on,out,up等介、副词连用,表示各种附加意义。

2、remain可与there连用,表示“只剩下”“还有”。

3、remain还可用作系动词,接名词、形容词(有时其后可接介词短语)、过去分词、现在分词作表语。remain还可接as引导的从句作表语。

4、remain有时可跟动词不定式(被动态)构成合成谓语,意为“尚待”。

5、remain因为它本身含有“持续”的意思,故不跟continue连用,也不能与still连用。

6、remain的现在分词remaining可用作形容词,在句中作定语。

7、remain是不及物动词,不能用于被动结构。
