1、both用作形容词时,作“两个,俩”解,只用作定语,是前位限定词,常与复数名词连用。
2、both用作形容词与定冠词、指示代词、形容词性物主代词、名词所有格等限定词连用时，应置于其前，而不能置于其后。
3、在both之后接名词时用不用定冠词均可。
4、both用作形容词时不用于比较等级。
