BBC News. I'm John Shea. The Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has promised to take revenge on Armenia for a missile attack that killed 13 civilians in the city of Ganja. In a televised address, Mr. Aliyev called the missile strike a war crime. He said Azeri forces had recaptured Fizuli, a city held by Armenia for nearly three decades. Rayhan Demytrie reports. Pictures from the scene showed a large area covered in debris with rescue workers recovering bodies from the rubble. Azerbaijan says three missiles were fired from the territory of the Republic of Armenia in the early hours of Saturday. Two of them were shot down by air defenses, but one landed in a residential area in the city of Ganja, destroying several houses. Armenia denies firing from its territory and reported that Azerbaijan had resumed shelling of the two main cities in the disputed Nagorno Karabakh region early on Saturday.
