剑桥英语等级考试介绍
剑桥英语等级考试是由英国剑桥大学考试委员会根据欧洲委员会制定的语言教学大纲设计的，针对母语非英语的部分地区进行英语学习和等级评测的系列考试。
近年来已经为越来越多的人熟悉和接受，其等级证书也逐步成为各学校和教育机构进行学员录取和成绩评定的依据; 那么，剑桥英语都有哪些级别，试题和考试模式等又有哪些特别呢?
一、英语等级考试共分为五级
剑桥英语分五级考试(Main Suite Examinations，缩略为MSE)，成绩合格者获得等级证书，该证书由于其考试的科学性、稳定性、权威性，在世界各国获得承认，被用于入学、就业等各种用途。
五级分别为：
一级，入门水平：英语入门考试(key English Test, 缩略为KET);
二级，初级水平：初级英语考试(Preliminary English Test，缩略为PET);
三级，独立水平：第一英语证书考试(First Certificate in English，缩略为FCE);
四级，流利运用：高级英语证书考试(Certificate in Advanced English，缩略为CAE);
五级,熟练运用：熟练英语证书考试(Certificate of Proficiency in English， 缩略为CPE)。
教育部考试中心和英国剑桥大学考试委员会合作，于1996年引进英语入门考试(key English Test)和初级英语考试(Preliminary English Test),于1999年引进第一英语证书考试(First Certificate in English)。这三项考试分别是五级证书考试中的第一、第二和第三级。该系列考试是一种对考生的英语听、说、读、写能力进行考察的水平考试。对成绩及格者提供由英国剑桥大学考试委员会颁发的成绩合格证书。
入门英语考试(KET)：
KET是一种自成体系的水平考试，代表使用英语应达到的最基本的要求。即考生通过200小时的学习，具备到讲英语的国家旅游，在国内外用英语应付一般日常会话的能力。对于在国内参加了由剑桥大学考试委员会设计的剑桥少儿英语考试(Cambridge Young Learners English Tests)一、二、三级的考生，KET是进入更高一级、成人阶段的考试。对希望将来参加剑桥二级水平考试即初级英语考试(PET)的考生来说，这是第一步。初级英语考试(PET)
初级英语考试(PET)：
PET是一种自成体系的水平考试。应考者通过380小时的学习，应具备在国内外用英语处理日常事务以及用英语与母语是英语和非英语的人士进行交往的能力。该考试也是为希望将来参加剑桥更高一级水平考试的考生打下的必要基础。
第一英语证书考试(FCE)：
FCE是剑桥英语五级证书考试的第三级，是比较重要的剑桥考试项目之一。它要求考生具备独立运用语言的能力，包括掌握足够的词汇量，具有组织基本语言并在不同的社交场合进行适当交流的能力。考试通过者通常能够在多种办公环境下的文秘和管理领域有效运用英语。FCE考试作为公共联络和从事办公室工作的有效能力测试手段，被国外商务和工业等用人部门广泛认可。FCE是各种剑桥英语考试中投考人数最多的，每年全世界考生超过25万人。同时，作为中级语言能力水平的证明，FCE在欧洲被广泛用来作为非英语国家留学生申请入学时语言能力的证明。
二、英语等级考试的特点
考试内容：
考试分两个阶段，第一阶段为阅读、写作、听力;第二阶段为口试。
KET：阅读与写作70-80分钟，听力20分钟，口试约8分钟。
PET：阅读与写作90分钟，听力30分钟，口试约10-12分钟。
FCE：阅读75分钟，写作90分钟，语言应用75分钟，听力约40分钟，口试约14分钟。
考试特点：
我们一般接触到的考试分为纸考和机考两部分，剑桥英语等级考试试卷部分均采用机考的模式。
口试部分，由两位考官对学员进行考察，一为提问官，一为评分官，提问官负责主持考试并打出总分，评分官负责对每位考生的成绩进行细项打分并出具分析报告。
口试的内容一般为：自我介绍，简短演讲和谈话交流三部分。
三、英语等级考试打分原则
剑桥英语等级考试的试题分数和打分机制不对外公布，所以我们在此介绍的是基于多年的接触预估出的打分方法;具体为：客观题得分由机器自动得出，主观题部分由阅卷老师评判，口语考试以口试主考官打分为准。
剑桥考试委员会在给考生打分的时候，会有一个相互参照和比对，即考生的水平应该平均显示在考卷和口语表达上，几个部分之间不可能有过度的偏差，比如考生的听力得了80%的分数，而口语-阅读等应该不会与之相差太大，因为在委员会认为，一个听力很好的'学生，在口语表达、阅读、写作等方面都不会太差;反之，如果你的阅读和写作得了80%的分数，但听力和口语只得了40%的分数，那委员会会认定考生的成绩不科学，有明显的欠缺，他们打分，将以最低的40%为基准和参考，考生也就不会得高分。
即使你别的几个方面再好，有一个明显的不足，就会影响整体成绩，因为剑桥考试委员会考察的学员的综合英语水平，能听不会写或者能说不会读的，都不合其培养人才的初衷。
四、考试报名
报名不受年龄、性别、职业、地区、学历等限制，任何人(包括学生、待业人员等)均可持本人身份证件到当地考点报名。在华工作的外籍人员和现役军人亦可持本人有效身份证件报名参加考试。
报名无开始时间，即任何时间都可以报名。有截止时间：上半年报名的截止时间为三月中旬;下半年报名的截止时间为9月中旬。
五、证书颁发与认可
KET、PET有4个成绩等级：
优良：Pass with Merit
通过：Pass
接近通过： Narrow Fail
不及格： Fail
FCE有5个成绩等级
优：A
良：B
通过：C
接近通过：D
不及格：E，U
剑桥大学考试委员会印发成绩通知单，同时印发获得通过等级的成绩证书。成绩通知单与成绩证书经中国教育部考试中心转寄各考点向考生颁发。
成绩证书终生有效。
在英国，所有大学都认可MSE的第三、第四、第五级证书为参加学位课程学习的语言能力证明。第三级(FCE)在英国一般被认可为专科学习必需的语言成绩，少数本科也认可，甚至研究生和MBA。第四(CAE)、第五级(CPE)在英国所有院校都被认可为本科学习必需的语言成绩，当然也包括研究生学习，与国际英语语言测试体系(IELTS)的成绩相互对应。欧洲及英联邦国家用英语授课的院校也都认可。
六、教材与练习
剑桥国际英语，是专为非英语国家的学习者编写的大型英语教程，是国际上最受欢迎，最有影响的英语教材之一。教程的内容包括听、说、读、写四种技能。同时进行语言训练和词汇扩展，尤其强调听说技能和英语交际能力的培养。本书主要使用美国英语，但是其内容并不局限于某个国家、地区或文化，而是反应了英语作为国际交流用语的丰富性和多元性。
